Fleet: Battleship Solitaire
Last updated: May 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Fleet: Battleship Solitaire mobile application ("Fleet", "the app", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. Fleet is published by Fishtail Games.
1. Summary
- We do not require an account, sign-in, or any personal details to play.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers.
- We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand basic usage patterns and to fix crashes. These services collect a limited set of technical data described below.
- Your puzzle progress is stored on your device.
- The app contains no third-party advertising.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
None. Fleet does not ask you to create an account, fill in forms, or submit any personal information.
2.2 Information collected automatically by analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect aggregated, mostly anonymous usage data, which may include:
- •A randomly generated app-instance identifier
- •Approximate location derived from IP address (city / region only — IP is not stored)
- •Device model, operating system, and OS version
- •App version and language setting
- •Screen views and standard events (app open, session start, session length, first open)
These signals help us understand which difficulty levels and screens are used most, and whether new versions are stable on real devices.
2.3 Information collected automatically by crash reporting
We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to record crashes and non-fatal errors. When a crash occurs, the SDK collects:
- •A randomly generated installation identifier (Crashlytics Installation UUID)
- •Device state at the moment of the crash (free memory, available storage, battery, screen orientation, network type)
- •The stack trace and the names of code paths leading to the crash
- •App and operating system version
This information is used solely to diagnose and fix bugs.
2.4 Information stored on your device
The app stores your in-progress puzzles, move history, theme preference, and elapsed-time counters in your device's local storage so that you can resume where you left off. This information never leaves your device.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, or contacts.
- We do not collect photos, microphone, camera, calendar, or files.
- We do not collect precise location (GPS).
- We do not use Android Advertising ID for advertising purposes.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
4. How We Use the Information
We use the limited information described above only to:
- •Operate, maintain, and improve the app.
- •Diagnose and fix crashes and bugs.
- •Understand which features are used so we can prioritise improvements.
5. Sharing With Third Parties
The only third parties that receive information from Fleet are the Google services listed below:
| Service | Purpose | Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase Analytics | App usage analytics | Link |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash reporting | Link |
These providers process data on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy practices, which you can review at the links above.
6. Data Retention
- •Firebase Analytics retains event data for the period configured in our Firebase project (default: 14 months).
- •Firebase Crashlytics retains crash reports for 90 days.
- •Local data on your device is retained until you uninstall the app or clear its storage.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- •Access the information held about you.
- •Request correction or deletion of that information.
- •Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
- •Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in Section 12. Because the data collected is largely anonymous and not linked to your name, we may need additional information (such as your Firebase Installation UUID, available in the app's Settings → About) to locate any record relating to you.
8. Children's Privacy
Fleet is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We rely on the security practices of Google Firebase for the data they process on our behalf. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Transfers
Information processed by Firebase services may be transferred to and stored on servers located in the United States or other countries where Google operates. Google relies on Standard Contractual Clauses and other approved safeguards for such transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted in the app's release notes.
